Items Not Accepted

Items must be in good if not excellent condition. Please be sure all items are clean and free of stains or damage.

Please do not consign the following items:

  • Clothing manufactured more than 4 years ago. Check the inside tag! Most manufacturers print a copyright date on clothing tags.

  • Adult ladies clothing

  • Baby equipment manufactured more than 4 years ago. Check sticker if unsure.

  • Car seats which fail to meet all criteria listed on the Items Accepted below.

  • Cribs manufactured before July 2011. Recent cribs are accepted.

  • Recalled items

  • Screen print tees (GAP, Old Navy, TCP, etc. are acceptable, but no advertising tees such as YMCA tees or those from your last vacation spot!)

  • Housewares (unless for children)

  • Weathered/rusty bicycles

  • Items with stains, broken snaps or zippers, missing parts, etc.

  • VHS tapes

  • Adult videos

  • Shoes that are not like new- if the shoes have scuffs, they are not like new.

  • Undergarments that are not like new.

Recommended Items!

  • Baby equipment manufactured in the last 4 years. Check date on tag. Batteries MUST be included as needed! Please verify that your baby equipment meets all safety standards and is not on the recall list.

  • Toys in excellent condition. Batteries MUST be included as needed. Games, puzzles, etc. MUST include all pieces.

  • Disposable diapers and cloth diapers (in New condition)

  • Batteries MUST be included for battery-operated stuffed animals.

  • Juvenile/nursery furniture including: changing tables, rockers, gliders, children’s dressers, and bunk beds as well as children’s bedroom sets. All items MUST be assembled by Consignor. Please bring necessary tools.

  • Nursery Bedding - any bedding must be manufactured with in the past 3 years and must be name brand. All Bedding MUST be brought in zippered Comforter Bags or big Ziploc bags (available at Walmart). Bedding does not sell well if it is not current or easy to see. Any bedding improperly displayed will not be placed on the sales floor.

  • Outdoor play equipment including Little Tikes and Step 2. Equipment MUST be clean and in good condition!

  • Parenting and children’s books.

  • Kids DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMs.

  • Video game systems and games

  • Scooters and perfect condition bikes - absolutely NO rust.

  • Car seats which meet the following criteria:

    • Your car seat has NOT been in an automobile accident (with or without child sitting in it).

    • Your car seat contains its identification label with date of manufacture, model name and/or number.

    • Your car seat is less than four years old.

    • Your car seat has all parts including (if applicable) harness straps, harness clip, seat cover, padding, shield, tether, and bolts.

    • The straps are not worn or frayed.

    • No buckle or metal part shows signs of rust.

    • There are no cracks, bends, or breaks in the plastic shell.

    • Your car seat locking mechanism locks securely and remains locked.

    • Your car seat has a label showing it meets all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

    • Your car seat has never been broken or fixed in any way except to retrofit for safety recalls if applicable. You have checked for safety recalls and have made any necessary safety retrofits required to meet Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

    • You have included the instructional manual (copy may be printed easily from most manufacturer websites).

    • You are the original owner.

  • Maximum of 200 clothing items.

  • Maximum of 15 like new items in sizes 0-6 month.

  • Maximum of 3 stuffed animals (non-battery operated).

  • Maximum of 20 pairs of quality, like new shoes.

  • Quality children’s clothing in excellent condition, manufactured in the last 4 years. We accept ALL brands of clothing, from Target brands to Old Navy, Gap, and even high end boutique items. All gently used clothing items sell well.

  • Junior sizes 0-16 and Young Men’s sizes 28W-34W. Sizes 12 through 16 must be trendy and manufactured in the last 2 years and MUST BE NAME BRANDS as that sells best in these larger sizes.

  • Maternity clothing purchased new in the last year.

Cuties Consignment reserves the right to remove items that do not meet these standards and leave them unsorted at sale end.
